About Us
The Verve Trio
This is the trio's first year together, but these ladies are no strangers to each other. They met in their Grade 9 year at the Etobicoke School of the Arts, where they were all a part of the renowned music program. While there, they took part in jazz bands, stage bands, concert bands, string ensembles, choirs, and the school's symphony orchestra (where Katie held the position of Concert Master for two years). From there, they went on to pursue music both in and out of school.
With over 40 years of musical training between them, they are thrilled to now have the opportunity to get together and bring the joy of live music to your special day.
Tanya Paradowski
Tanya is currently pursuing her B.Sc. in Psychology at York, while working as a piano teacher, accompanist, vocal coach, and opera singer, with various groups and soloists across the GTA.
Katie Grundy
Katie Grundy has been playing violin for 17 years and has achieved a Grade 10 RCM level. She graduated as a Music Major from the Etobicoke School of the Arts in 2011, where she won the Strings Award, the Concerto Competition and was Concert Master of the ESA Symphony Orchestra and Stradivarius Strings Ensemble. She also spent two summers playing in the International Regions Symphony Orchestra based out of Ochsenhausen, Germany. Katie continued playing for weddings and for the Hart House Orchestra while pursuing a science degree at the University of Toronto.
Abigail Neale
Abigail is a graduate from the prestigious Humber College Bachelor of Music program, majoring in woodwind performance and composition/ arranging. She has been playing the flute for 8 years and has since gained diverse experience performing classical & jazz music on flute, clarinet, and saxophone as a professional for weddings, festivals, corporate events, and various musical theatre shows (Lower Ossington Theatre, Harold Green Jewish Theatre, Talk Is Free Theatre, Brampton Music Theatre).
Abigail is ecstatic to bring her life and passion of music to The Verve Trio!
